Medication Refills
Refill the Medications You Already Take
Whether you’ve moved, are between doctors, can’t get an appointment, or are about to travel and need a refill before you leave, Wismar Med provides a fast, convenient way to request a telehealth medication refill evaluation from the comfort of your home.
Medication refill evaluations start at $65 for up to three medications. Most refill requests are reviewed and, when appropriate, sent to your pharmacy the same day. Most eligible maintenance medications are prescribed as a 90-day supply when clinically appropriate. Telehealth evaluations are available to patients who are physically located in Georgia at the time of their evaluation.

How It Works
01
Check Your Medications
Enter each medication individually into the Medication Eligibility Checker to determine whether it qualifies for our online refill service. If you can’t find a medication, try searching by both its brand and generic name.
02
Complete the Eligibility Questionnaire
If one or more of your medications qualify, complete the eligibility questionnaire to determine whether this service is right for you.
03
Request Your Refill Evaluation
If you meet the initial eligibility requirements, click Get Started to request your medication refill evaluation. Your payment method will be authorized at the time of booking but will not be charged until your medical evaluation has been completed.
04
Complete Your Forms
Complete your secure intake forms and submit your medical records through the Elation Health Patient Portal.
05
Physician Review
We will review your medical records and refill request. If additional information is needed, we will contact you, and you may be asked to schedule a telehealth visit.
06
Prescription Sent
If your medical records confirm that you are currently taking the medication and your request meets our prescribing criteria, we will notify you which medications have been approved for refill and electronically send those prescriptions to your preferred pharmacy.
Please Note
- The evaluation fee covers our medical review of your request and records. Payment is for the medical evaluation only and does not guarantee that any medication will be prescribed or refilled.
- Certain medications may require recent laboratory testing before they can be prescribed. If needed, we may ask you to complete testing through Labcorp or Quest Diagnostics before your refill can be approved.
- Additional medical records or a telehealth visit may be required if more information is needed to safely evaluate your refill request.
Pricing
- 1–3 Medications$65
- 4–6 Medications$110
- 7–10 Medications$150
- 11 or More MedicationsPlease contact us before scheduling.
Please Note: Your fee is based on the number of medications you request to be evaluated, not the number ultimately prescribed. Every medication requires an individual medical review, so pricing does not change if one or more medications cannot be safely prescribed.

That one is on my refill list
Next are a few short questions, so you know whether a refill visit is the right route before you book anything.
This is a quick guide to the medications I refill most often. It is not a complete list of what can or cannot be prescribed, and it is not a formulary.

I don’t see that one on my refill list
My list covers the long-term medications I renew most often. Plenty of medications are not on it, and that says nothing about you or about your prescription.
The quickest way to find out is to ask me directly. If it turns out this is not the right service for you, the Healthcare Resources page lists other options.

Good News!
Based on your questionnaire responses, Wismar Med appears to be a good fit for your medication refill needs.
The next step is to schedule your appointment. Once scheduled, complete your intake forms and upload your medical records through our secure Elation Health patient portal.
Providing your medical records as soon as possible helps speed up the review process. We’ll begin reviewing your information after you schedule your appointment and will keep you updated through secure messages in the patient portal.
In some cases, if your medical records clearly document your diagnosis, treatment history, and current medications, your prescription may be sent without requiring a video visit.
If additional information is needed or there are questions about your records, we’ll send you a message and arrange a brief telehealth video appointment at a time that works for you.
Our goal is to review your request and send eligible prescriptions as quickly as possible, often the same day.
Unfortunately, based on your answers, Wismar Med does not appear to be the right fit for your medication refill needs at this time.
Your responses suggest that your refill request may require services outside the scope of our practice.
Please visit my Healthcare Resources page, where I’ve listed primary care providers, urgent care options, specialists, and other healthcare resources that may be better suited to your needs.
If you believe you answered a question incorrectly, you’re welcome to start the questionnaire again.

Frequently Asked Questions
Who can request a medication refill?
Adults 18 years of age and older who are physically located in Georgia and meet our refill eligibility requirements may request a medication refill evaluation.
Do I need to be in Georgia?
Yes. You must be physically located in Georgia at the time of your telehealth evaluation.
What medications can Wismar Med refill?
We evaluate many commonly prescribed non-controlled medications. Use our Medication Eligibility Checker to see whether your medication qualifies for our online refill service.
Do you prescribe controlled substances?
No. We do not prescribe or refill controlled substances through our Medication Refill service.
Controlled substances are medications regulated by federal law because they have the potential for misuse or dependence. Examples include many opioid pain medications (such as hydrocodone or oxycodone), stimulant medications used to treat ADHD (such as Adderall® or Vyvanse®), anti-anxiety medications (such as Xanax® or Ativan®), and sleep medications (such as Ambien®). If you’re unsure whether your medication is a controlled substance, use our Medication Eligibility Checker or text or email us before requesting an evaluation.
Can I request multiple medications at once?
Yes. Enter each medication individually into our Medication Eligibility Checker. We review each medication separately, so some medications may qualify for refill while others may not.
What medical records do I need?
You will be asked to submit medical records from a healthcare visit within the past 12 months documenting the condition being treated and the medication(s) you are requesting to be refilled. Additional documentation, such as pharmacy records or clear photos of your prescription bottles, may also be requested when appropriate.
Does the evaluation fee guarantee a prescription?
No. The evaluation fee covers our medical evaluation and review of your records. Payment is for the medical evaluation only and does not guarantee that any medication will be prescribed or refilled.
When will I be charged?
Your payment method will be authorized when you request your evaluation but will not be charged until your medical evaluation has been completed. If you do not submit your required forms and medical records within 7 days of your request, your refill evaluation will be canceled, and you will not be charged.
How long does the refill process take?
Most refill evaluations are completed the same day once we have received your completed forms and all required medical records. Requests requiring additional information, a telehealth visit, or laboratory testing may take longer.
How many months of medication will I receive?
Most eligible medications are prescribed as a 90-day supply. However, in some cases, only a 30-day supply may be prescribed. The amount prescribed depends on the medication, your medical condition, and the medical records provided for review.
Will I need laboratory testing?
Possibly. Some medications require recent laboratory testing before they can be prescribed safely. If needed, we may ask you to complete testing through Labcorp or Quest Diagnostics before your refill can be approved.
Where will my prescription be sent?
If your refill is approved, we will electronically send your prescription to your preferred pharmacy.
What happens if my refill isn’t approved?
If your request does not meet our prescribing criteria or sufficient documentation is not provided, we will explain why your refill could not be approved. When appropriate, we may recommend that you follow up with your primary care physician or treating specialist.
Can you refill a medication managed by my specialist?
Possibly. Some medications require ongoing specialist care or monitoring. We will review your records and determine whether it is appropriate for us to manage your refill.
Do I need a telehealth visit?
Not always. Many refill requests can be completed through a review of your medical records alone. However, if additional information is needed to safely evaluate your request, we may ask you to schedule a telehealth visit.
What if I can’t find my medication in the Medication Eligibility Checker?
If your medication isn’t listed, text or email us. We’ll let you know whether it may qualify for our online refill service.
